The brief

To work with stakeholders GOL (Government Office for London), the emergency services, the NHS, local authoritites and businesses to increase engagement in the work of GOL’s emergency planning programme, to ensure that London is prepared in the event of a major incident.

The solution

A campaign delivered in partnership with stakeholders, giving them the tools they needed to access their networks with Emergency Planning marketing materials. This included: a piece of direct mail, an e flier, a plastic card and a branded mug. It was important to remember that many of these stakeholders were not desk based and that all communications needed to be durable.

The result

  • 562% increase in web traffic
  • An increase in engagement, with a 42% increase in pages viewed on the website
  • 572 new contacts signed up
