The brief

To work with the LDA to develop a marketing strategy to recruit and retain over 35,000 volunteers to work during the 6 week Olympic Games period, to help welcome visitors to London.

The solution

A sophisticated solution that mapped the requirements of the Olympic visitors, against the needs of the programme, focussing the marketing through targeted PR, e comms and partnership working. The retention strategy provided a framework to balance the requirements of engaging and managing volunteers, with making them feel valued.

Over 35,000 people recruited over a 6 week period
