Joe’s ice cream
This is a cult ice cream brand in South Wales, well loved by the local population but with a dated brand that had grown organically over a 40 year period. The brief was to design a new logo and look and feel that could be rolled out across all their brand touch points and to provide them with a framework that would enable the brand to grow.
A brand strategy that routed Joe’s back to its traditional Welshness, building on its status as a well loved brand. The new logo was based on the brands 1920s heritage but with a modern refresh. The ‘look and feel’ used colour to differentiate flavours and created a consistent tone of voice to make you smile.
